The Jesus Picture

Explaination... I did the Tongariro Crossing in the snow and climbed to the summit of Mount Tongariro. It was a beautiful day when we left (see previous photo), but when we got up to the summit a cloud/fog/mist moved in. Dispite what we couldn't see (nearly everything) we celebrated with a few Heinekens. Mike took the picture looking up and the white background is the cloud we were in. All thats missing is a halo.

Taupo Half Marathon

Off to a fast start at the Taupo Half Marathon (thats me bottom centre). At least I can say I lead the race for 10 metres or so. Didn't finish as well as I started though. Went loopy near the end (maybe dehydrated, maybe low blood sugar), but did finish.

Wellington Sails

Picture from Wellington (NZ Capital) Harbour. They had a bunch of sail boats in town on thier way around the world. For scale, there is a guy up one of the masts changing the rigging.
